I added some testing today for compatibility. I think it is similar to what you Ali and Jonathan have done, very clean and using the whole drive. Then I get results comparable to yours :-) And I added a few tests with the mini.iso, which allows installing to lower ram. I succeeded at 160 but not 128 MB RAM in a real computer with an AMD Athon XP, 1.15 GHz, 32-bits. I have put all my test cases into the table. And, yes, it is possible to install to very low RAM, but you need to work very carefully. And often the user wants dual booting, or for some other reason keep some partitions, and then the level of RAM will get considerably higher. Also, if you need to use 'grub-n-iso', the RAM levels will be higher. -o- I still suggest we recommend the following limits (MB RAM) 384 for the graphical installer 192 for the mini iso 256(?) for the alternate installer, let us wait and see if it will also get zRAM We should also mention that the mini iso is much more flexible, but also harder to use, and it offers a method to build custom systems.
