Re above using Lubuntu 12.04, I have virtual two desktops. In the
taskbar I can switch between them by clicking the little windows that
represent them. I notice that the desktop1 taskbar icon even when there
are no windows open in it shows an open window. When I click on that
little taskbar window icon for it the window dissappears. So I'm saying
the taskbar icon for desktop1 will show an open window within it even if
the isn't an open window on the desktop proper and it goes away when you
click on that icon. Seems like a very minor bug?

I have noticed that as well, but considered it so minor that I never
bothered to report it.
