yes, I remember back in my QBasic and C-DOS days, The joy of switching from a monochome monitor... at least I had the option of orange text on a black background. One the most pleasing color schemes (IMHO), was yellow on a blue background... but, there you are, me showing my age again :)

With respect to "showing my age", you're certainly not alone. Some of us may even go farther back.

I recall working on assembly-language enhancements to the "Exec 8" operating system of a Univac 1108 mainframe computer, using decks of punched-cards.

But I have no problem with showing my age. The best is yet to come.

By the way, I like yellow text on blue background as well. I also like white text on sky-blue (or slightly darker blues). I do realize I have different preferences than most people, and I'm okay with that.

I'm really glad that Lubuntu still has the easy color customization that the other Ubuntu variants no longer have.
