To expand on that last comment, I am running Audacity and would like to
separate the help onto a different desktop.  The 'click on the menu bar'
way of moving things to another desktop doesn't work as it moves both
the help window *and* the main Audacity window to the new desktop.

In xfce I can drag either the help window or the main window to another
desktop and it doesn't bring the other window with it.
