I posted recently about a HardInfo bug under Quantal-- maybe that is in
play in your case as well. See

My apologies for not being active on the Lubuntu testing recently. There are

Attempting to register my eMac equipment using the method found at:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/Testing/PPC%26Mac64/HardWare
Under the heading "Finding the Information Needed".
When I ran the command string 'hardinfo' etc. etc. I first got an error
message that the system was unable to find lib/libc.so.6. Discovered that file
had been relocated to /lib/powerpc-linux-gnu and was linked to libc-2.16.so. So
I simply copied the link into /lib and that took care of one problem.
Then I tried to run the string again.
Below is a paste of the result I get:

Can't see where to go after that, or whether or not any information has been
collected.
What am I doing wrong?
