On my home desktop (which still runs xubuntu, not sure for how long
though) I have a horrible collection of startup scripts and stuff to
overcome the shortcomings of xubuntu's session manager.

Here on my netbook running lubuntu I also want to set up a few terminal
windows that *always* start on specified desktops when I boot lubuntu.
So, what's the lubuntu way of starting things at boot time, that's
things as in *user* applications on specific desktops.
