I removed lxappearance-obconf in amd64 Wily as you suggested in the
comments for Alternate i386 testing, but I couldn't get lxappearance
working.
Any suggestions?
Perhaps the title of #1464899 should be changed as this problem seems to
occur on all installed versions.

Should probably sound like it should be confirmed or hopefuly triaged. I think
this may be a dependcy underneath as lxappearance doesn't show an update in its
changelog.
