Hi everybody, I can confirm the previously found (and independent) red bugs (1417918, 1422675) also in the 'final' Lubuntu alternate i386 iso file, '20150218.1' in the qa-tracker.
-o- But there is an alternative for users who can only install from CD: Install a minimal system from the Ubuntu mini.iso (dated jan 30, when this comment is written) http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/trusty-updates/main/installer-i38... (old kernel) http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/trusty-updates/main/installer-i38...
