If you look at the aforementioned [bug][], then you'll find that the issue is bigger than just xserver-xorg-input drivers. There are other packages both missing and adding.
Could you ppc and amd64 folks figure out the same results for your particular architectures and add to the actual results in the bug description? Thanks again!
