Post it on the bug report please! Any test results should end up on a bug report. Letting me know is good, but having it documented on the bug report will allow me to justify taking further triage action. Hard to justify based on apparent conjecture. >> What do you guys think about PPC only for LTS versions? It might give us the extra time we seem to often need. > In terms of support for PPC in LTS only, personally I think that is fine, LTS is my choice for almost all of my linux systems, since the hardware can't really make use of bleeding edge software, LTS is more than likely just fine; those that have the skills probably can get anything to work, but for "end users" like myself, not enough time to be dealing with the 6 month cycle on upgrades . . . . But, considering that the hardware more or less continues, having something for PPC is better than dropping it altogether, and, as I mentioned before, it seems like AmigaOne is bringing a larger potential user base for alternative operating systems . . . . : - ) Yes and that's why I'd like to continue to support it! I think focusing on LTS will allow us to better and more consistently support PPC. That being said, we need to hit Trusty and Vivid dailies hard. For "W" cycle, we would just continue that. @wxl Lubuntu Release Manager, Head of QA Ubuntu PPC Point of Contact Ubuntu Oregon Team Leader
