The way mentioned in on the lubuntu wiki of upgrading by sudo do-release-upgrade
I added a -d as this was to the development relase and it seems to be working perfectly fine on an old i386 but the testcase say to use software and updates :( Interestingly enough I now have firefox 27 which doesn't crash which was the up to date version on saucy. sincerely, Brendan Perrine my irc nick is ianorlin.
