Hi, Kadrija, It was fairly easy but not quite straight-forward to make a Lubuntu Core tarball from the Ubuntu 13.10 mini.iso. Please test it and let us know how it works for you :-)
I have uploaded a tarball with the following md5sum and name to phillw.net 3d3064f982681bc1c78624d16062e6b9 tarballs/LubuntuCoreSaucy.tar.xz There is fake-PAE. But in order to make the network portable I also installed 'network-manager' and tweaked it according to this link https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/MinimalInstall#Unmanaged_Wired_Network Best regards Nio On 2013-11-02 09:47, Nio Wiklund wrote: > That's good Kadrija, > > Now I know what to make: > > Lubuntu core with fake-pae. > > Best regards > Nio > > On 2013-11-02 09:41, Kadrija Hrlovic wrote: >> Hi Nio >> I would prefer to have it just with fake-pae flag and no other >> customisations if possible. >> My laptop is dell latitude d505: >> >> *-cpu >> description: CPU >> product: Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1500MHz >> vendor: Intel Corp. >> physical id: 400 >> bus info: cpu@0 >> version: 6.9.5 >> slot: Microprocessor >> size: 1500MHz >> capacity: 1800MHz >> width: 32 bits >> clock: 133MHz >> capabilities: fpu fpu_exception wp vme de pse tsc msr mce >> cx8 mtrr pge mca cmov clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 tm pbe up >> bts est tm2 cpufreq >> >> I'm sure it has pae but it is not listed in cpu-flags. >> I'm currently running windows XP but I'm thinking of installing Lubuntu >> which it ran a year ago. >> >> >> On 2 November 2013 09:00, Nio Wiklund <nio.wikl...@gmail.com >> <mailto:nio.wikl...@gmail.com>> wrote: >> >> Hi Kadrija, >> >> I see.
