Hi, bug # 1066435 has long troubled PPC. It was commented as being a kernel issue. From what I have read of testing in Saucy, this bug has been resolved. I'm going to ask that it be marked as 'fixed'. As it is a kernel issue, there is zero chance of getting it back ported to earlier releases. But, it is good news as 13.10 is the feed into our 14.04 LTS for lubuntu.
