I just realized I hadn't sent any info about my computer. I had to install pastebinit and clipit, and I considered editing the wiki myself, but I have this irrational fear of doing something hideously destructive and setting off some NORAD-style chain of events.
http://pastebin.com/jJ0RqaXw I have 256MB and 1GB RAM sticks that I can install to test. 1GB is what I normally use, but I can install the 256MB stick when necessary for lower-memory tests. I notice that I'll be the only desktop on the list.
