Approach 1: When the pop up show up for opening the USB Drive with The File Manager, I did open it. I opened another window for The File Manager Copy the source folders from USB Paste to my Home
Approach 2: Instead of copy-paste, I dragged and dropped the folders Two windows for The File Manager were opened Tried this on Lubuntu 12.04, 12.10 and 13.04 Beta 2 I failed to re-produce the same issue that you reported :) On Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 8:32 PM, Jose Lopez <josewen...@gmail.com> wrote: > I think I did that, But I will try a couple of different ways including > what you suggested see if I can get it to quit what is do in. will keep you > posted. > Thanks > Jose > > > On Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 11:18 AM, Ali Linx (amjjawad) > <amjja...@gmail.com>wrote: > >> This may seem silly but try to open One window for PCManFM and two tabs, >> one for the source (USB) and the 2nd for the destination and start copying >> the files. >> >> For me, I usually do this when I have multiple files/folders to transfer >> but in most cases, I open one PCManFM window with one tab for the USB, >> copy, go to home, paste. >> >> I will try now your approach and see if what would trigger the issue :) >> >> >> >> On Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 7:39 PM, Jose Lopez <josewen...@gmail.com> wrote: >> >>> Hi Lars, I usually open two file managers, one with the /home opened and >>> one with the usb stick opened and then I copy/paste from one to another. >>> >>> >>> On Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 10:35 AM, Jose Lopez <josewen...@gmail.com>wrote: >>> >>>> I haven't tried another usb stick just because it has always worked >>>> with this one, and yes I also have a seperate /home.
