Be aware that these boot parameters are video-card hardware dependent, and that not all ibook G4's have the same video card -- so "fixing" the known issues wiki page for your exact ibook G4 hardware might "break" it for someone else's hardware :) Also, it seems that the Lubuntu PPC FAQ page at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/FAQ/PPC used to point to a pastebin of a config file for ibook G4's with nVidia video cards... and that pastebin page no longer exists, making the FAQ rather less helpful than it used to be :( Hint to those reporting bugs (and writing bug-related documentation like wiki pages): please attach all relevant supporting files to the launchpad bug, do not point to other sites which may change or go away... I think for the nVidia cards, the fix was an xorg.conf file something like Section "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" DefaultDepth 24 EndSection Jonathan -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa Post to : lubuntu-qa@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
