Hi Greg! Now i understand better your intervention in the forum ;) Once, i tried exactly your way for a bootable usb - but it didn't work for my powerbook. May be it's a wrong one: PB G4 17" alluminium (still with 6-pin firewire connector). I'm using the firewire chain for alternative configurations (pushing the option-key at built-in power-up sound shows all the bootable options - without any need to configure ybin; as for me, i've mintppc11 on the internal hd and lubuntu 12.04 on one external and mac os x on another external - daisy chained to the firewire). May be it's here the correct place, at least to ask: *WHERE* should be asked questions about misfunctions of lubuntu 12.04 ppc? I tried several ways but did not get nearly any feedback ... :-( Cheers. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa Post to : lubuntu-qa@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
