i had notification-daemon crashing on me when i started playing with ppc and now that i got the latest daily working in x86 i found the same problem. only today it seems to have resolved itself. so now i'm starting to question the bug in the first place-- and trying to determine where the solution came into play. so have at it, kids: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/notification-daemon/+bug/933216
also i get a black notification list. i'm wondering if this isn't an issue with the artwork somehow but wasn't able to change it via change look & feel. if one can determine this is an artwork bug, please change the package: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/notification-daemon/+bug/933682
