That sounds like a mini-iso / network install. Yes, something like that is quite possible with lubuntu. I have forwarded this also to our head of Development for him to take a look at. If you could grab as much information as possible and add it it would assist him. Julien does not have a PPC Mac, so he really does rely on the testers to give him information. an "it does not work & gives lots of errors" is pretty hard to work on!.
Following on from last nights meeting, we are going to make a start on the mini-iso / network install section for 12.04. Thanks for your patience and continued testing, I know it can seem frustrating at times but it is essential if we are to have a PPC release - plus you get that warm fuzzy glow that comes with "I helped make that happen" :) Regards, Phill.
