Hello Team!
(gosh ^^ I've always wanted to say that! :-D )

First of all I have to apologize to you for leaving you "un-employed"
the last weeks but my RL kept me away from the computer so that I
have trouble catching up with all that is asked from me for my new position.

For those of you, who dont know me: I am Jens aka silverlion on
#freenode where you can find me on #phillw or just sent me a memo to get
in touch with you. (For more information I have set up my wiki-page:
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/silverlion).

As Ibere already mentioned in his mail, I'll take over comms from now on.
But: one TL does not make an effort if the team does not properly
function. So I am depending on your support, your willingness and your
commitment to make Lubuntu present on the world wide web and the real
world.

But to be able to do that, we do have a lot of work in front of us. My
plan includes to reach out for the other *buntu comms teams to see what
they are doing and to share experience.

On the other hand, we need to get in touch with the LoCo Teams to see
how we could provide them materials and information about our distro

And thirdly I want to restructure the web-presence of Lubuntu and its
social media channels. We have too many to manage them all. (But this is
another story worth to be dealed with in a seperate email).

For now let's focus on the things mentioned above and try to get this
team back into active mission status. I am willing to, are you too?

All the Best
Jens
(TL of Lubuntu Comms)

P.S.: If you have any questions or ideas. Please do share! Thank you!
