here are my questions regarding what you presented during the LSR WG:
1. How are the below values defined in the draft being used?
Interface Maximum Unit Energy Consumption
Interface Real-Time Unit Energy Consumption
Interface Average Unit Energy Consumption
Node Maximum Energy Consumption
Node Real-Time Energy Consumption
Node Maximum Unit Energy Consumption
Node Real-Time Unit Energy Consumption
Node Average Unit Energy Consumption
There is a statement in the draft:
"When energy consumption-related constraints are specified in the
advertised Flex-Algo conditions, energy consumption metrics are used
for path selection."
but that is far from sufficient. You need to be much more specific how
are these used. What do you refer to as "energy consumption metrics"
2. How dynamic are the above defined values? You have to be careful when
bringing the dynamic values that tend to change frequently and
significantly into the path computation for stability/oscillation reasons.
