My very dear Moin, AA RB, Moin, the enemy is out to get you. It is foolish to blame the enemy. When one doesn't understand the world politics they attribute it to conspiracy theories. They get into a siege mentality. Their mental faculties cease to function. They will blame the enemy for every thing.
Thank you very much for sending me this article but it is far too childish to be taken seriously. You take crutches when you are lame. Resorting to Conspiracy theory is like taking crutches to walk. We should look at where we have gone wrong for 60 years. That takes an effort. It is easy to cook up conspiracy theories. If there is some truth in it it doesn't help us. In fact it distracts us from looking at the real causes. When you have appointments in Civil Service and The Police on the basis or relations, parochialism, regionalism, provincialism and tribalism and not merit and you do not have any good police academy you cannot protect the Cricketers who were your most special guests when no one else was ready to come here. You are now having "Jiyale" judges too as I just see on AAj TV. Just today my cousin in Cincinnati was telling me how he was shocked to receive a note from Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto ordering him to appoint a peon in The Government Hospital in Karachi. In Jeddah a PIA manager one Mr.Khalid showed me so many chits written by Benazir to appoint people in PIA in Jeddah. Is it a Prime Minister's job to appoint people? His job is to make policies that must positively not negaively affect millions of people and the country. Is the enemy telling Bhutto, Benazir, Nawaz Sharif or Zarari to grant small sops to needy people who may or not deserve the position. Is the enemy telling you not to respect Public Service Commision. Did the enemy conspire so that guys like Qazi Hussain Ahmed and the like made no protest and stop a corrupt to the core guy getting into the Presidential Palace. They were so vocal against Musharraf, which was fine but where did their sense of fairplay go when they made no attempt to stop such an accused guy? Will you blame the enemy for all our corruption and lawlessness when no one, absolutely no one, is safe. Are you going to blame the enemy for 100% tolerance to lawlessness, 100% tolerance for corruption and zero tolerance for religious differences? Yes the enemy is out to get you but what the hell are you doing. When you go into details you see so many lapses and huge lapses, that you are shocked. There is no point in blaming the enemy. If you are expecting any thing better from enemy nothing can be more absurd. I am fed up of reading flawed analysis that is misleading the masses. The problem is not with the masses they are excellent people, brilliant and not corrupt. The problem is with the so called educated and politically minded people who fool the poor guys all the time and are generally corrupt to the core. The enemy will do what is good for them and we should do what is good for us. When we do not do what we must we will be crying over what the enemy is doing. Allah is Munsif and Adil and will reward those who observe well, think well, analyse accurately, plan well, do the right things and take the right decisions for their people, in due time as against emotional wrecks ever ready to grab the crutches.
