I totally agree with faizan, we require a leadership which may lead us
to a peacefull situation. Even the dectatorship is better if the
situation of law and order is in control. Unfortunately, all our leaders
are seem fighting for the seats only. If this is called democracy, We do
not want this. We clearly want situation better enough to live our
lives.

Faisal bhai, endeavour of SAMAA team is really appreciateable, Please
accept my gratitudes for those who acquired the video of the terrorists,
it smells like a begineng of some revolutionary changes. External powers
are seem taking interests and they want things go further worst. We
desparately want change. Change in faces, Change in system, Change in
approaches!! We want revolution only.

Judiciary , Senate, Assembly, Government, Opposition all are chips of
same block. Inflation rate is rising on bi-monthly basis, earning ratio
increases once in 2 years. Yes we are an independant democratic state.
Petrol / Gas which are our own production, yet we have to give approx.
400% tax, what for? We are a country as stated in our national anthom
depending upon the power of People. All incomes must be then publically
declared! They are never.... Why?

Faisal Bhai, I would request you to note these questions and ask the
officials.

Subject: [ankahi:1634] Comments on the current situation

Salam,

I think it's about time the people of Pakistan demand a strong
leadership instead of these half wits currently occupying the government
and the opposition. We need at this moment a strong government even if
it means not a democratic one. The nation is standing at a break point
where none of the current political parties have the capacity to deal
with. Out of the current history the only leader worth mentioning is
Musharraf who at his peak and time commanded authority , Ran a pretty
good government for 6 years though at the end due to a few mistakes had
to resign.

As for the terrorism issue i do not understand how our people come up
with the following statements "these men cant be Muslims" "no pakistani
is capable of doing it" when in reality if you walk around or talk to
people, You can see it spreading all around you. The excuses you see on
the media nowadays makes you wonder if finding reason for a terrorist
attack is their job. Coming back to the terrorism issue. how do you
tackle this? Take a country like Saudi Arabia for example which had a
huge problem with extremism even in it's armed forces and officials were
involved. Yet they plucked them out of the society ruthlessly, Shot
them, arrested them, If you had any connection with certain groups or
philosophy the police had the right to take you in for interrogation.

I understand a lot of people would come back with an argument of it
being a police state. My answer is ask the ordinary Pakistani, What is
more important to them? Democracy? Judges? I'm sure many would talk
about Security, Food, Economy. Many people like me would rather live
under marshal law if it meant someone could provide us these. Everyone
understands our politicians are not mature enough to be in office.

Regards,
Faizan
