I agree, but perhaps there were not many other choices? However if you compare SiS to SiliconMotion SM712, it does work quite a lot better. With XAA and 16 bit color, the SuperTux game plays at 15 FPS on Yeeloong and at about 30 FPS on Fuloong. :) PowerManga and fceu are playable on Fuloong, but not on Yeeloong. gtkperf score is also higher on SiS than on SiliconMotion. Both video devices do take a significant performance impact on switching to 24 bit, so I just use them at 16 bit color for now. -- With respect, Roman
