I have switched my network from WPA2 AES to WPA1 TKIP, and managed to run the machine for a much longer period before the lock-up. Now it locked up -- and for the first time, not completely dead, but with the leftmost LED above the keyboard flashing! Is it possible to obtain debug information while in this state? I have tried some SysRq keys, but only Alt+SysRq+B worked (reboot). > > I am not sure which binutils are used for compiling the above-mentioned > > kernels, but for my own test kernels I used "binutils-mipsel-linux-gnu > > 2.20.1-16" (and those locked up too). > > Does your "as" provide the -mfix-loongson2f-nop option? Yes, it provides both -mfix-loongson2f-nop and -mfix-loongson2f-jump. To be clear - I only built the .37 and .38 kernels (not .32), used them briefly, and since I discovered they make no difference with regard to lock-ups, I switched back to using the prebuilt .38 kernel from linux-libre for now. -- With respect, Roman
