Hi,

I'm late ... but bring Gdium the CPUFreq driver(which means R4K Timer
works with CPUFreq driver now).

Please get it from our master branch:

http://dev.lemote.com/cgit/linux-loongson-community.git/log/
 OR
git://dev.lemote.com/linux-loongson-community.git master

Compare to writing from scratch, Porting is simpler but may also need
enough time to pick up the patch fragments from the old kernel and
make all of the features really work for the APIs of the new kernel
version may have changed a lot.

I started learning C programming in 2003 and began to write Linux
Drivers in 2006 or 2007 ;-)

me 2, I'm also still miles away from the real 'kernel hacking'... But
anyway, If we have interest and time, all of us can fix bugs, improve
performance, add features ... all of these may help the kernel
development ... and perhaps someday, we get a new idea and it may
change the kernel a lot ...

I knew there is one for SM712 on YeeLoong, that change may be possibly
ported to SM502 although I didn't know the details ;-)
