We are happy to announce that the 12th edition of “PhDs in Logic” will finally take place in a hybrid format virtually and at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, from September 8 to 10, 2021. “PhDs in Logic” is an annual graduate conference organized by graduate students. This interdisciplinary conference welcomes contributions to various topics in mathematical logic, philosophical logic, and logic in computer science. It involves tutorials by established researchers as well as short (20-25 minutes) presentations by PhD students, master students and first-year postdocs on their research. Invited speakers are: Marianna Antonutti Marfori (LMU Munich, Germany) Christoph Benzmüller (FU Berlin, Germany) Juliana Bueno-Soler (CLE - State University of Campinas, Brasil) Hannes Leitgeb (LMU Munich, Germany) Alexander Steen (University of Luxembourg) Peter Verdée (Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium) We welcome students to participate in PhDs in Logic XII regardless of whether they give a presentation at the conference. Participation (virtual or in-person) is free but students are kindly asked to register. The deadline for registration is September 7, 2021.
