The project investigates the interplay between informal mathematical theories and their formalization, and the different forms of mathematical understanding that are generated by the process of formalization, with particular to mathematical practice. The directive lines of the project are available here: https://sites.google.com/view/ffium/accuei <https://sites.google.com/view/ffium/accueil>l The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the realization of the project and to reside in Nancy or Paris during the whole of her/his grant, by being affiliated to the *Archives Henri-Poincaré* or the *Institut d'Histoire et de Philosophie des Sciences.* The grant amount (about 1600-1800€/month after taxes) is set by French regulations. We encourage to apply young scholars having received their doctoral degree in the last 5 years in the domain of philosophy of mathematics and related areas, with a proven potential to conduct and publish research at a level of international excellence.
