It is so appropriate that Ray now leaves us with this last puzzle, the one in which he has something to tell us, but we will never know what it was... And with this we go back to where we started, self-referentially, to the hospital bed in which he was once stuck when a young boy and his brother told him that he would have a big surprise before the end of the day. Of course, there was no surprise. And this was very surprising to Ray! He wouldn't like us to be sad today. Or ever! Let us cherish his memory.
