The Association for Symbolic Logic invites applications for
a two-year free membership
in the organization for new members from countries classified as
developing economies.
The list includes Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Geor
gia, Kazakhstan, India, Iran,
Romania, Turkey, South Africa, and many other countries.

After the initial two-year period the new members will pay
the reduced membership dues, currently at $18, as long as
their country of residence is on the list of developing
economies.
ABOUT ASL
The Association for Symbolic Logic is an international organ
ization supporting research and critical
studies in logic. ASL organizes and sponsors meetings and summer sc
hools throughout the world; it
publishes books and journals; it awards prizes for excellence in r
esearch and in expository writing; it
maintains professional ties with related organizations; it
maintains a web site which provides
information of interest to logicians; and it sends to its mem
bers a quarterly Newsletter mailing with
programs of ASL meetings and other information.
