Local: UFRN, Setor II, sala C1

Abstract:
We present the apocalyptic argument with the conclusion that the world
shouldn't be there and premises that the world shouldn't be horrible
(caritatism), the world's presence causes horror (mundanialism) and
causal consequences of what's permitted are permitted (reliabilism).
An object is there iff it's experienced. The world is horrible iff
some suffer so much it were better for them to be unborn. Necessitism
is defended on the basis of the evaluation semantics and a preferential
semantics for deontic logic used to support the optimist view that the
world isn't horrible as there for all exist something which defeats their
suffering.
