Hi all, We are (Ubuntu-Co) really worried about our mirror server ( co.archive.ubuntu.com) this is the problem; all started when we were trying to upgrade and update our systems (to oneiric)... The servers answer was so slow and sometimes the packages was broken.
At this point we thought that it was a internal server error... then we went to saw the server personally and for our surprise the server runs 100% and it's completly update! so we say to ourselves (¿what's wrong?) Then we did a lot of testing (where the server is) but everything went well... At that moment we do a tracerrouter to our own server and the result was this[1] As you can see in the picture, the TracerRouter send us to "ubuntu.c3sl.ufpr.br" that's a Brazillian mirror. And the big question here is... ¿Why to brazil? ¿What's the problem here if we have the server perfectly? Somebody give us this answer: "....because you don't have a real mirror" so we made some test with another mirrors like ubuntu-uy[2] ubuntu-ve and ubuntu-ar. Those countries don't have a oww mirror; then we went to see in the offical mirror list [3] and there's our server!... We really need some help to fix this problem!... Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.
