Hello all! I just wanted to let everyone know that I have stepped down as Team Contact with the US-Pennsylvania LoCo and the team has put Jim Fisher (aka jedijf in irc) in my place as Team Contact and Launchpad Team Owner. Please welcome Jim who has worked with me from the beginning as one of the first members of the team. He is a tireless advocate for Ubuntu, who has enthusiastically stepped forward to provide leadership for the team while I am at a time in my life where family and work requirements have marginalized my efforts. I am confident that he will lead this team forward to a bright future!
I have really enjoyed being part of the Ubuntu Community. I have shared the support, common purpose, and kinship with not only my local team, but also of every LoCo team aound the globe! I want to thank everyone from every team. This is what makes Ubuntu great... Our people, our teams, our community. Without you, we wouldn't be Ubuntu. This is not a goodbye! Not by any means, I will continue to contribute in the future. Possibly more in a technical area, but I will always support and promote Ubuntu wherever and whenever I can. Thank you for sharing this ride with me. I am so glad that I was able to be part of this! And best wishes for Jim! - Bret -- - Bret Fledderjohn ____________________________________________ "Why should I fret in microcosmic bonds That chafe the spirit, and the mind repress, When through the clouds gleam beckoning beyonds Where shining vistas mock man's littleness?" - H.P.
