@Dear Paul Tagliamonte; I don't think that David intended to break the CoC, specially that the split time between David's and Amir El dor's messages is just 2mins, it can happen that he wasn't notified of the Amir's reply before David actually replied, and I don't think that David had broken the CoC by replying again on one request.(As I can see, David is using a basic HTML web interface, which doesn't notify for new messages untill user refreshes the Inbox).
Also, I don't think that our relation to CoC is a matter of obedience, but rather a matter of respect and observance, and always beside the CoC there's the Catalyst role, like the Freenode's <http://freenode.net/catalysts.shtml>. :D Thanks for keeping heads up.
