Hi every one, Ubuntu Tamil Team joined hands with like minded IT people and conducted an Meet on Decemeber 16. A Total of 142 IT people took part in this event.
Mr Ramanraj, President of Free Software Foundation, Tamil Nadu Chapter gave a lecture on Free Software and its benefits. As part of this event we had launched a Signature Campaign, requesting our government to include free softwares in Schools and Colleges. We gifted every volunteer who participated to get signatures with a Ubuntu CD and assured them our support.
