The Ubuntu Women's Project has set our first IRC Meetup Day for
Thursday, January 11, 2007. Two scheduled sessions to try to cover
various timezones are planned and then we just generally want to try
to keep the ubuntu-women channel as "open day" for anyone who wants
to stop by and introduce themselves.
1.) Group 1 starting at 15:00 UTC (3 PM London), Thursday, Jan 11, 2007
2.) Group 2 starting 12 hours later on Friday, January 12, 2007 at
03:00:00 UTC (3 AM London)
Our mailing list activity is picking up and there is a great deal of
interest in creating an HCI Team and finding some specific projects
within the greater community to target our involvement. More info on
