Hi all,
When I was at Allhands in San Francisco, I did a talk about the Ubuntu
Community and mentioned the excellent work going on inside the LoCo
community. Using the foo magic of our sysadmins, I managed to get a
number of how many people are subscribed to the loco mailing lists. This
figure was just over 10,000! I was astonished at how big the community
was back then, but I have even better news now. :)
Its now just a month or so later and I did another quick count of
subscribers this morning and we are just a shade under 13,000! So, in a
month or so the project has grown nicely! This is all down to the
excellent work you folks are doing. World domination is happening... :)
Sure, its a general hand-wavey figure and some of those subscribers will
be lurkers and dupes, but it shows how the project is growing and how we
have a large community of volunteers. Lets see how much bigger we can
make it. :)
