            Bug ID: 39648
Summary: [ms] [clang-cl] unlike microsoft cl, clang-cl doesn't
                    search headers in unexistent paths
           Product: clang
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: -New Bugs
          Assignee: unassignedclangb...@nondot.org
          Reporter: eugvelesev...@gmail.com
                CC: htmldevelo...@gmail.com, llvm-bugs@lists.llvm.org,
                    richard-l...@metafoo.co.uk

On windows paths like <dir>/<unexistent dir or existent file>/../<file> are
correct. Therefore if someone includes header like this:
#include "../header.h"
and compiles with /I <unexistent path>, clang might not find header.h and fails
unlike microsoft cl.

clang checks existence of -I dir in InitHeaderSearch::AddUnmappedPath from
lib/Frontend/InitHeaderSearch.cpp
