            Bug ID: 35041
Summary: Type of regular expression in clang-format is not
                    documented
           Product: clang
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: Documentation
          Assignee: unassignedclangb...@nondot.org
          Reporter: wim.lefl...@gmail.com
                CC: llvm-bugs@lists.llvm.org

clang-format uses regular expressions to give priorities when sorting includes.
It uses 'POSIX extended regular expressions' for this. But this is missing from
the documentation.

I found out because '\w' to match word characters doesn't work. You have to use
[[:alnum:]].

The documentation could link to https://man.openbsd.org/re_format.7
