Eugenio, Have you changed any setting in your bios to boot from usb? At boot, you could try to make sure that your pc tries to boot from the harddisk.
If I'm correct, for HP, you should be able to choose where to boot from by pressing F9 during boot. If you manage to boot this way, try updating the boot order (press escape while booting) to make sure your computer always tries the harddisk first. If you have ruled out any problems there, you could try https://www.supergrubdisk.org/ to try harder booting windows, but this should not be needed if you have not made changes.
