I might be nostalgic, but I prefer the old OSGeo Logo, and the blue of
our adaption to OSGeo-Live. But I think it valuable to be consistent
with OSGeo branding, so I'm in favour of accepting proposed changes for
this release. (If we have time to be creative and change the logo later,
we can).
+1 from me to accept the new logos.
Jody, you might want to try a lubuntu or ubuntu distribution to make the
docs, if you have access to one.

It is unclear to me if the graphics designed is handling sub-brands like
OSGeo live, or if it is something we are expected to do once we have the
logo / font / color choices in hand.
