The "Workshop installation" icon on the desktop pointing to 
http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/wiki/Live_GIS_Workshop_Install was widely used in 
Münster. The apturl-links on the Wiki don't work anymore, but it's still an 
easy way for installing additional workshop material.
As every year, the proxy setup procedures did slow down many workshops. This 
is on my list for the FOSS4G 2016 in Bonn...
