the OSGeo Live team is getting a little bit of well-deserved break
after a hectic Live 7.0 cycle !
so, no plans at the moment..
however, all install scripts are available at:
http://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/livedvd/gisvm/trunk/bin/
so, it lends itself to custom installs over the XUbuntu 12.04 base
Simply getting XUbuntu 12.04 64-bit and then running a few install
scripts yourself
.. would get you a long way towards what you want
