Dear all

I'd like to setup my firewall in this way :
- bundle all physical nic in a lagg interface and deal only vlan interfaces on top of it
- i.e. isp1 isp2, lan1, lan2, wifi_corp, wifi_guest, dmz1, dmz2

A frequent term to describe this is "one leg setup", and for now I call it "one big leg setup" (c) me :-)

My edition of the book is a bit old now (but still good) and, as I plan to also use traffic shaping, I read this : /

//Due to a limitation in FreeBSD, lagg(4) does not support altq(4) so it is not yet possible to use// //the traffic shaper on LAGG or LAGG-based interfaces. As a workaround, you may use Limiters to//
//control bandwidth usage on LAGG interfaces./

This bug (https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/1630) suggest. more or less, that it's not a problem anymore.

Is it still a limitation now ?

Thanks
David
