Hi all,

I'm currently testing pfsense for traffic shaping in bridge mode.
Ideally i would like to use both the limiter with altq.

I have some DPI equipment that tags return traffic from the internet with
DSCP values based on application type.
DSCP tagged packet should then be assigned to certain queue as they exit
the client facing interface

Client<----->pfsense<----->router with dpi <------>Internet

The issue i face is the pf does not inspect return traffic when using keep
state (the default) so packet get sent to the default queue.

I can solve the above with adjusting the rules to have "no state" so return
traffic is inspected but this seems to affect the way the limiter
operates.....basically it stops working

Does the limiter require "keep state"

Any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Olaf
