Hi Everyone! Senario: 1 pfSense box with 5 nics.
WAN + LAN + OPT 1 + OPT2 + OPT3 On the LAN is a Windows SBS 2011 Server running the DHCP service, so DHCP Server is disabled in the pfSense box. On OPT1 is Windows Clients, and should optimally be served IP addresses from the Windows SBS Server, so I will need the DHCP relay function in pfSense for that. OPT2 + OPT3 is for production network equipment and/or internet access, and here I would like to use the build in DHCP server in pfSense. Every Network segment have different IP subnets, routing and NAT is working perfectly. My question is now, can you use the build in DHCP server on some subnets and DHCP relay on other subnets at the same time ?
