Have you played around with different subnet masks to see if you know for sure
it's a mask issue?

Subject: [pfSense] IP subnet confusion

PfSense 2.0.2

Everything used to work, but since wiping the box and reloading CentOS,
something isn't working anymore. If I remove the PfSense box from the mix and
give the CentOS server a public IP things start to work.

WAN public space is a /29

LAN is 192.168.1.1 /24

I created a virtual IP to may public .27 to 192.168.1.27

The IP on the CentOS server is 192.168.1.27, 255.255.255.0, 192.168.1.1

I have the right ports open because this used to work when this was a windows
box

But I cannot acces anything. SSH, web, nada.

Do I have the wrong net mask even thought the LAN is a /24? Do I have to do
something different since my public space is a /29?

Jason
