Not really. Every install we have has been upgraded from 2.0x to 2.1.
In general, 2.1 is in solid shape, and if it works it won't break. The
risk at this point is that which is inherent in using an automatically
built snapshot of any software, the builds aren't tested. The slowness
issue is strictly with nano, full installs don't mount read only to
read write.
