Poweregde?

Hello Luiz, follows the intel raid controller, see the link below:

http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=iir&apropos=0&sektion=4&manpath=FreeBSD+8.0-RELEASE&arch=default&format=html

See if compatible with the list.

Here is the controller,

http://www.freebsd.org/releases/8.0R/hardware.html DISK #

not to have bugs, pick up a Dell Perc 6, 5 perc for not having error.

checks the level raid desirable, 6 perc guess there is raid 5.

where in Brazil?

Juliano, good morning!
I am also of Brazil, since the test pfsesne 2.0.1 and 2.1 snapshot but had no
success with either.
to replace the dell raid controller for intel I would succeed in this facility?

thank you

Recently here in Brazil, I bought a Dell R310 to do the super firewall, I had
problems installing, no more than 38% of the installation disk ... error
control, Dell Perc 700, the man was not on the freebsd for release 8.0 of
pfsense 2.0.1 to version 8.3 is not included, I tested with pfSense 2.1 beta,
and it worked well in the installation, not put into production.

http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=mfi&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+8.3-RELEASE&arch=default&format=html

a good solution would be to ask Dell to replace the controller to another.

Hi Luiz,

To work around the problem you can virtualize pfSense, no?

Just install any OS on the host and create a VM.

Mathieu,
I'm testing the 9.1 rc3 now it seems with this kernel did not have the greatest
difficulties the problem here is that I have to configure it by hand: - ((

More if that is the solution do it!
Yes this model already comes with the drac.
Tell you what, I'm finishing my shift for today, tomorrow I capture the screen
where is stopping and send to the list for everyone to analyze!

Thank you again!
