can someone explain to me how to get the domain-search option in
pfsense's dhcpd to work properly?: I've googled the issue but did not
find a solution.
Entering anything into "Domain search list" will result in this error
on the (Linux) clients:
Invalid domain list.
suspect value in domain_search option - discarded
I've tried the following syntaxes in the field:
intra.example.com,example.com
intra.example.com;example.com
intra.example.com example.com
"intra.example.com","example.com"
"intra.example.com";"example.com"
"intra.example.com" "example.com"
"intra.example.com,example.com"
"intra.example.com;example.com"
"intra.example.com example.com"
Trying to get option 119 under "Advanced" did not work for me either.
Currently, I hardcode the search list into the network config on each
and every client as a solution. Can someone help me out here with a
better solution?
